The Westland Area Business Association (WABA) was incorporated as a not-for-profit association on October 16, 1990. The incorporation came as a result of interest sparked by the Business Supporting Our Schools Association, which is the primary reason that WABA still focuses heavily on supporting schools in the Westland Area.

WABA has a Facebook page. Please take a look and Like us. Please check the website or Facebook for any updates.

Welcome to the Westland Area Business Association!
The Westland Area Business Association (WABA) became incorporated as a not-for-profit association in 1990.  We've been bringing local business owners and community leaders together ever since to support local business efforts and promote commitment within our community. WABA's geogrpahic area is contiguous to the borders of the South-Western City School District in central Ohio, but our membership also includes people who live and work outside this area.

WABA meetings are held monthly and usually include lunch and a speaker.  WABA also hosts several special events throughout the year including the Annual Awards Banquet held in October, a networking meeting in January, our Annual Scholarship Auction Dinner in the month of March, and the Independence Day Parade & Celebration the Saturday before or on July 4th.

Membership provides wonderful opportunities to get involved in the community and to work with other business and community leaders in the area.  So, go ahead, get involved and become a member today!
